A realistic budgetary estimate depends on your answers to a few questions about your home size and design. We can usually give you a good estimate of how much to budget for your renovation, but we usually need to visit your home to provide an accurate proposal. The reason this is important is that we need to look for indications of hidden surprises which nobody ever likes. There’s nothing more dissapointing than to remove a bunch of material only to find mold, rot, or damage from moisture, insects, or wildlife. Most homeowners have no idea about these hidden problems which create longer project time and usually more cost for materials. We try desperately to give every customer a real accurate estimate and keep to it, but sometimes we miss something that was well disguised.
Siding is quoted based on the total square footage of the wall area & the type and style of siding material. Hidden damage, & high difficulty add cost.
Windows are quoted on quantity, efficiency, size, style options, material, and type. Above average repairs and custom trim add to cost.
Like siding, roofing replacement cost is based on the roof area and the material selected. Repair of hidden moisture damage may add cost.
It’s worth noting that financing is available, with several options depending on your credit. Most financing options have flexibility built-in to deal with the unknowns of some projects .
