One might not think that certificates on the wall or trophies on the shelf are all that important. However, we believe many annual customer-driven badges are worth pursuing and sharing with customers. For instance, let's look at the following.
Sales achievements, for example, are relevant because they indicate that we are completing more projects. Therefore more people are happy with our work. Material vendors want to reward contractors for representing and implementing their products to high standards. However, volume matters too. HES finds that higher sales volume translates to better response time from suppliers and manufacturers. In addition, we see improved product delivery and a faster turn-around for dealing with problems.
Quality awards are by far our favorite forms of recognition. It's great to get 5-star reviews, but they don't carry the weight of independent surveys. As a result, independent surveys, such as Guild Quality, fill the gap. GQ contributes to a better overall view of customers' satisfaction with how we are doing. Achieving the Guild Master certificate each year means we're doing well. Further, we're proud to be at the top of the list of Guild Master recipients and kind of best of the best among contractors. Staying at the top of your game in the contracting business is not easy!
