Traveling to meet with James Hardie this time of year is tough but worth the time.

This is our busiest time of the year, and we’re not a huge company, but when James Hardie asks for our presence at HQ in Chicago, we do whatever we can to make it happen. Why? Two reasons.

First, James Hardie is our cornerstone product in the exterior renovation business. When they ask for our attention, we strive to give it to them. They’ve earned our confidence. We believe JH feels the same towards us, despite our comparative size. In Houston, James Hardie’s siding is by far the dominant product. HES chooses to be among the very best in the country at installing Hardie products. We do not consider alternative fiber cement siding products. Why would we do that? We are all about proven products by proven manufacturers. James Hardie siding has no peer as far as we’re concerned.

Second, to remain one of the best Elite Preferred designated contractors, we must stay on top of changes in the product line as it evolves. Everything from installation best practices, health, and safety. to code changes to related tools and products such as fasteners, sealants, wraps, and paint coatings.

Nothing stays the same. We must keep up to be counted among the best James Hardie siding replacement contractors.

On behalf of our customers, our confidence remains high in James Hardie.

Of the new CEO and his team, the future looks bright for James Hardie.

A fair number of our peers from other US cities were in attendance. All of us received briefings on company performance touching on people and organization, products, production, distribution, market presence, and support mostly relevant to our segment, which is the replacement side of James Hardies’ business.
